Charm in Rome furthers accommodation facilities (Bed and Breakfast, Flats for holidays, etc…) in Rome, in order to simplify the research on web.
Thanks to Charm in Rome the Internet users (Tourists) can have at their disposal a wide choice of Bed and Breakfast and Flats for holidays (or other accommodation facilities such as hotels, dwellings, etc..) that can be consulted easily, where they can find all necessary information to choose the best solution.
Each facility has its own page (mini site), with a textual description, specific details, an interactive map showing the exact position and a photographic set, supplied by the facilities’ owners, or otherwise acquired by their sites published on web.
Through each mini-site the potentially interested user can, without any obligation, make more inquires by using a suitable Form.
The enquiry will be sent to the concerned facility whose owner will answer him as quickly as possible.
Charm in Rome is not a travel agency, but it aims to advertise the accommodation facilities, by placing at tourist’s disposal a messaging system by means of which the Tourist and the Owner (facility manager) can communicate and bargain over prices and booking conditions.
The official prices are those established by the Owner on the confirmation of booking and those indicated in the booking voucher. If the Tourist receives enquiries which do not agree with the amounts indicated in the voucher, Charm in Rome can exclude the Owner’s facility from its circuit and take legal action if it thinks its image has been damaged. The Owner is totally responsible for the photos sent. Any infringement of copyright is not due to Charm in Rome.
Booking
Booking a b&b or a Flat for holidays in Rome through Charm in Rome is very simple.
The Tourist can send his enquiry through a suitable form (or a simple e-mail), by specifying the name or the code of the concerned facility, the period of stay, the number of people and any other information or enquiry.
The reply will be sent him as quickly as possible, generally in the space of a few minutes, and it will include the offer made by the facility’s owner.
The offer will be considered as valid for 24 hours since it was sent, and in this space of time the Tourist can decide if accept it; if so he should pay a required sum though credit card, Pay Pal, money order or bank transfer (in the last two cases it is necessary to send a copy of the receipt for payment by fax or by e-mail).
The amount of money left over will be paid directly to the facility’s owner when the tourist arrives.
After the confirmation of booking, both the Tourist and the Owner will receive a voucher of confirmation by e-mail containing all data concerning the booking made, the price agreed and the exact address of the facility.
Conditions and terms and Policy of cancellation
The conditions contained in this paragraph can be considered as valid only if they do not contrast with other rules indicated by the owners and listed on descriptive pages of each facility.
Since most of the facilities showed in the site Charm in Rome are b&b and holiday houses, reception does not work nine to five, so the Tourist must contact the Owner at least 48 hours in advance so that they can agree on the time of arrival.
Anyway, check-in is possible from hours 12:00 and check-out not late than hours 10:00
The agreed sum must be paid when the tourist arrives, after the Owner has welcomed him.
We advise you to print a copy of the voucher received on booking and carry it with you at the moment of check-in.
The advance paid on confirmation of booking cannot be reimbursed.
With regard to the times of cancellation policy and any penalty the tourist must ask for it to each facility which has the right to establish different policies.
